Writing Tips: Writer's Market

It's that time of year again. Time to focus on your writing and coordinating with what you are going to do for the rest of the year.

Writer's market is an amazing place full of contests, prompts to test your wit and skill, and budding amounts of information for all writers. If you do not follow, read their magazine, or participate in their competitions, I strongly suggest you do.

The Writer's Market also makes books for writer's to guide them in their career. They have a super book filled of all nooks and crannies, and they have books for certain types of writing or focus. If you are a serious writer, these can really help you understand everything there is to know about the writing career. They make new copies for ever year and here's the 2013 set:

2013 Writer's Market Deluxe Edition

2013 Novel & Short Story Writer's Market

2013 Poet's Market

2013 Guide to Literary Agents

2012 Writer's Market

They are quite large books, so if you don't have a lot of room, a kindle version might be best for you.  :-)

Also, if you haven't been to the Writer's Digest website, you should definitely start going now. If anything, make sure you get updated every time they post about a new agent!  Writer's Digest
